Programs For Elementary School-Age
Starflight and Adventure programs provide outcome-based developmentally appropriate curriculum for youth in grades K-5. All curriculums are adaptable and can be delivered in a number of different settings. Programs are organized into the following subject areas: communication; relationship building; self-awareness; leadership; decision-making; creative writing; service to community; performing arts; environmental awareness; sports; and science.

I’m Peer Proof is a course designed to specifically teach youth violence prevention. This course can be presented in 60-minute sessions. Through these activities, young people learn responsibility for their own actions and come to understand that they control much of their lives through the choices they make and the consequences that follow.

I’m Safe and Sure & I Can Do It are courses designed to specifically teach students self-help skills; personal safety; family responsibility; how to eat and select nutritious food; fire, bicycle and weather safety. These courses were developed in response to a national concern for children who are expected to care for themselves and younger siblings after school and on weekends. Both courses consist of 60-minute sessions which can be adapted to fit program needs.
